The AG-security Fire Safety Sensor was invented to give users the ability to have professional fire monitoring without the expensive cost and hassle of hard-wired smoke detectors. AG-security iOS and Android apps utilize the convenience of smartphones and tablets most people carry, and allows them to use it as a home security tool. This technology is now being duplicated by other home security companies.

Before AG-security revolutionized the home security market, having a security system meant that you needed to get a complicated system permanently wired into your walls by a professional installer. AG-security install-it-yourself system gave homeowners control of their system, and allowed them to adapt it inexpensively as their needs changed.

AG-security also changed the way security systems are designed. We separate the base and the keypad, and added redundancy to the system by including communication and an alarm in each piece. Other systems can be completely disabled by smashing the keypad before the system dials the monitoring center and sends out a signal. With AG-security, even if the keypad is smashed, the base has already sent the signal to the monitoring center using the high-speed internet connection, and the 100 dB alarm is still blaring.
